Denarah Ferron, PA
My journey into the healing began with a love of the outdoors and herbalism. In college, I focused on ecology, our connection to the natural world and what we can do to steward our resources. From there I explored reiki, yoga, nutrition, and massage therapy, but wanted to help my clients with more than a temporary fix. At 40, I became a PA to integrate conventional medicine from a holistic perspective at George Washington University's PA program as well as their Integrative Medicine Program. I have also taken coursework with the Institute of Functional Medicine.
What I love about integrative medicine is that we can create meaningful shifts with lifestyle changes to maximize factors that will have the biggest impact. Deeper dives may benefit from including labs, but personalized medicine starts with you being the expert of your own health experience. My role includes sharing my medical knowledge and experience with holistic and integrative medicine over the last 30 years to empower you to be as well as you want to be.
